Thomas E. Kennedy (1944-2021)
Thomas E. Kennedy was an American fiction writer, essayist, and translator. He was the author of more than 30 books, including novels, story and essay collections, literary criticism, translation, and most notably the four novels of the Copenhagen Quartet. Kennedy’s work won many awards including the O. Henry Prize and two Pushcart prizes. He relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark in his thirties and lived out his life there.
